It all started when I shared my childhood dream of becoming a National Geographic photographer. Tanner bought me my first camera, and the moment I started photographing people, I fell in love.
After college, I became a high school health teacher and girls soccer coach. Then Rocky came along and changed everything in the most unexpected and beautiful ways. Rocky was born with Down syndrome, and I knew she wanted to be home with him full-time, so I left teaching and turned my love of photography into a business.
Four years later, that little business had grown enough for Tanner to leave his career and join me full-time.
We quickly realized how much we loved working together. Being a husband-and-wife team naturally drew us toward weddings and couples—and toward creating the kind of experience we loved on our own wedding day.
Now we get to do what we love, side by side, while telling the stories of people beginning their lives together.

OUR STORY
